Our mission is educational. We want people to understand why the San Pedro River Valley is remarkable and irreplaceable
- environmentally
- culturally
- archeologically
The Cascabel Working Group (CWG):
- is a grassroots, all-volunteer organization
- attends public meetings and concerns itself with relevant governmental or corporate activities
- networks / shares information with environmental and other organizations, both local and national
- has members in many of these organizations as well as in universities and other local nonprofits
- works together with neighboring communities, provides information and seeks a united voice

The Cascabel Working Group (CWG) serves as a voluntary community organization to educate governmental organizations and individuals within the government, non-governmental organizations and individuals within those organizations, and the public about environmental, archaeological, cultural, recreational, agricultural, economic and other features of the San Pedro River Valley and its tributaries with a focus on the Middle San Pedro River Watershed. |
